Wedding Story Writer is an innovative, original custom wedding storybook design company. We attend weddings and write the wedding story while it is occurring, with the end result being a beautiful custom hand-bound book. We offer our clients customized stories, including their engagement, wedding, and honeymoon, and other personalized content they wish to have within their book. Our beautiful books have exquisite artwork within it-- original book designs, illustrations, fonts, and other art. As pioneers in this new luxury niche, we are looking for a few enthusiastic students who have interest in the wedding industry, with a background in art, fashion and general design to intern for us, earning college credits along the way. During your internship, you will have the chance to understand and participate in the inner workings of the original wedding story company. Depending on your school's requirements, you could be interning a minimum of 20 hours per week from your home location--this is a remote/virtual internship, so no need to dress up. Please include a list of your technical knowledge, and degree of proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and other art skills outside of design, and what field you plan on entering upon graduation. Tiffan'e Nicol Image Studio is a hair, makeup & fashion boutique in Castelberry Hills (downtown Atlanta). We are looking to launch our blog site because we receive so many hits with fashion questions, requesting makeup tip and hair tips. We are looking forward to bring a intern on to show them the insides of the fashion retail industry.

The West Harlem Art Fund, Inc. is a thirteen year old, public arts organization. WHAF offers exhibition opportunities for artists and creative professionals wishing to share their talent with residents uptown and around the city. The West Harlem Art Fund, Inc. showcases art and culture in open, public spaces to add aesthetic interest to our part of the city; promote historical and cultural heritage; and support community involvement in local development. Our latest venture is art tours in real artist neighborhoods around the City.

Assistants will support the classroom instructors in weeklong studio arts camps for students ranging in age from 4 to 18. Camps begin on June 10 and continue until August 30. Weekend hours are also available. This is an unpaid opportunity with the possibility of college internship credits through participating colleges and universities.

The sites are the online component of the WNET/Thirteen television show, NYC-ARTS (formerly SundayArts), which is hosted by Paula Zahn and Phippe de Montebello on Thursday nights at 8 pm. NYC-ARTS aims to increase audiences for the citys world-class institutions and smaller gems, and to inform locals and visitors about the wealth of activities happening in every borough of the city. Content is entered via content manager system (CMS) and edited by the online editor and senior online editor.

Free Arts is currently seeking an intern to work closely with our Weekly Program & PACT Program Coordinator. The intern will assist in implementing quality improvements to PACT & Weekly program structure & program delivery. This internship opportunity is ideal for an individual interested in non-profit program development, program & volunteer management & working with community volunteers & social service agency professionals. The Free Arts Weekly Volunteer Program brings consistent creative arts opportunities to children who have experienced abuse, neglect, homelessness, severe poverty or who are considered at risk in their communities. Free Arts places trained & screened volunteers at our partner agencies to lead small groups of children through a meaningful artistic process on a weekly basis for a period of 8-10 weeks, 2 hours each week. Volunteers are trained in the Free Arts practice of using their positive influence combined with the arts as a means for the children to build self-esteem, self-worth, positive decision making, collaboration with peers, & relationship building with a positive adult role model. Free Arts Parents & Children Together with Art (PACT) engages families experiencing the overwhelming stress of poverty & homelessness, the trauma of domestic violence or residing in an at-risk community where access to positive family resources are scarce. Free Arts volunteers are trained in the Free Arts practice of using their positive influence, leadership skills, & creativity to encourage families to work together, communicate & learn from each other over a period of 8 consecutive weeks. The PACT Program has a significant impact, empowering families to value all the strengths & positive qualities they possess despite the often stressful & seemingly hopeless circumstances they find themselves in.

During the academic year, Visual Arts interns will assist in many day-to-day operations of a busy, multifaceted department, combining aspects of exhibition design, curatorial work, registration, and education. The successful candidate will have a documented history of attention to detail, good writing ability, and a positive attitude about performing many kinds of tasks on a demanding schedule.
