We are now accepting applications for an Accounting/Finance Intern for Summer 2011 (June - August). Our offices are located in Altamonte Springs, off exit 92.

This position works closely with the organization's Controller with AP, GL and receipts. Additional duties include report creation for internal (program managers, executive director and board of directors) and external (grantors and donors) stakeholders. This position will provide great exposure to managerial and cost accounting systems and structures. The Police Athletic League requires Level II background screeing and drug testing that will be provided at the organization's expense. This internship is available on on-going basis but requires a six month committment. Intern will report to our location on Monument Road. The schedule is flexible between 8:30 - 5:00 Monday through Friday with a minimum of 15 hours per week. This poistion provides no cash compensation, but will provide practical work experience in a non-profit organization.
