Responsible for the evaluation, procurement, design, technical specifications and support for Network equipment and storage capacity.  Prepares equipment maintenance requirements and policies, identifies and tracks equipment deficiencies and designs / implements rearrangements and improvements.  Plans, organizes and functions as equipment SME for equipment selection and on-site installations. Interfaces with process engineering and maintenance to develop and support new processes and applications.  Sequences vendor schedules to insure proper interface and deployment. Position Description
As a Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) Modeling, Simulation & Analysis Engineering Intern, you will be part of the Operations Analysis, Modeling and Simulation team within the Flight and Systems Technology division. Primary duties will be supporting engineers in their modeling, simulation and analysis of challenging and exciting design projects related to logistics, supply chain, business strategy, system performance, or combat and communication systems. You will be providing support using or developing optimization and/or continuous modeling and discrete-event simulation tools and methods to model system performance and/or architecture. Common tools used include Extend, Matlab, Model Center, System Dynamics, AnyLogic, plus numerous in-house and custom applications.
