Verve International is an import/export company located remotely. We import quality beauty/fashion items that we sell online. Were looking for our new semester interns, covering a variety of roles. Were looking for our next interns to work with us on developing & launching our newest beauty product, our premium hair extensions. We are bringing on a mixed team of 6-8 people who represent the roles outlined below. If you can convince us youre driven and focused, passionate about beauty/fashion or extremely interested, we will teach you everything you need to get any job you want, start freelancing, or launch any idea of your own.We are looking for college students or recent graduates who are motivated and who would like to work in a fun, energetic, yet fast-paced environment. College credit is available but not mandatory.

DDF offers several internship opportunities for students passionate about protecting civil liberties, especially the right to dissent. Interns will generally work out of our national office, which is located in Takoma Park, Maryland just outside Washington, DC or remotely from anywhere in the U.S. Interns at the national office will have the opportunity to attend educational forums, symposia and meetings hosted by our allies, think tanks and local universities. National office interns will also participate in meetings with coalition partners, Congressional staff and staff from different federal agencies and the White House. All DDF interns will engage in substantive work including research, writing, lobbying and coalition-building. Specific projects interns will work on include the Campaign to Protect Animnal Rights Activism; Rapid Response Solidarity Network; Civil Liberties Wikipedia; Dissent & Repression Comic Series; Defending Dissent Radio; Direct and Grassroots Lobbying. Summer Internship Program: This is an 8-week internship in our national office. Students are expected to work 30 hours per week and are paid a modest stipend. Remote Internships: This flexible internship offers students the opportunity to work on DDF projects from anywhere in the U.S. Fall or Spring Semester Internship Program: Full or part-time interns are accepted at our national office or can work remotely.

The position supports the Managers community leadership to ensure the effective overall management of company initiated activities within the region. The incumbent will take a proactive approach to implementing strategies and organizing operations to maximize the fundraising potential of the region and must have the ability to establish a presence in the community and bring volunteers and community leaders together to achieve a common goal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the management of the Walk for Food Allergy program in the Northeast Region. Assist with No Food, No Fear School Program. Assist with logistics and implementation for the 2013 Fall Gala including correspondence, phone calls, and solicitation. Engage volunteers in regional events.
