The Account Coordinator provides assistance to the Account Manager in the day-to-day management of accounts and develops the skills necessary to advance to the position of Account Manager. Duties: Gather and assemble background information and analyses as needed by the Account Manager in development of creative briefs Provide administrative assistance to the Account Manager on day-to-day activities for assigned clients, including responding to client phone calls and emails, handling mail/packages, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow Provide input in planning stage as requested by the Account Manager or Director of Production. Assist in mailings, word processing, reports, proposals, correspondence, and other materials related to account service (except billing, production quotes, media plans) and prepare the above for client meetings. General Responsibilities: The Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the internal scheduling and flow of work throughout the agency. Under the Director of Production, the Communications Coordinator coordinates the timely and efficient movement of all jobs through all agency departments.
