Department Overview: Distribution Marketing serves as a strategic integrator to the Sales and Travel Operations (SATO) division to develop, maintain and partner with our clients to promote Disney Destinations through multiple sales channels to include, Travel Industry, Groups and Conventions, Disney Institute, Weddings and Honeymoons, and Youth Programs.
Graphics Solutions: Create, reinvent and repurpose integrated marketing tactics across multiple platforms based upon segment-specific attributes, while maintaining and elevating the Disney brand.
Responsibilities Graphic design role may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Fulfill a diverse array of graphic design projects for the various teams in Distribution Marketing that promote our Disney destinations: Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort and Adventures by Disney.
- Handle graphic design projects including ads, fliers, postcards, posters, and electronic materials such as static Web pages and banners, among others.
- Participate in team brainstorming, input meetings and creative reviews.
Basic Qualifications These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for this position:
- Currently earning a college/university degree as a junior or senior majoring in Graphic Design or related major
- Demonstrated computer proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat as well as all Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Additional InformationInternship Eligibility:- Must be enrolled in a U.S. college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Not have already completed two consecutive (spring/fall) College or Professional Internship Programs
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must provide full work availability
- Must provide own transportation to/from work
- Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months)
Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are June 2013 through January 2014. Interns must be fully available for the duration of the internship.
Housing: A limited amount of company-sponsored housing is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
