We have openings for highly professional, career-oriented Electrical Engineer Interns. We are seeking current students in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related fields. Knowledge of electric utilities, power systems, communications, control systems and/or networking is desired. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Design, plan, integrate, test, train and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems. Define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments as necessary. Provide networking and system/application design. Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration and testing for projects. Customize system, hardware and network configuration based on customer requirements. Responsible for staging, integration and testing of assigned project systems as stated in customer requirements. Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Working towards a BS degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field. Strong technical background in automation and computers. Familiarity with public utilities. Excellent organization, interpersonal and leadership skills. Strong commitment to providing superior customer service. Ability to work on several projects in parallel. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Permanent work authorization in the United States. Ability to proficiently speak Spanish is a plus. No previous electrical engineering work experience required.
