Read the testimonial below: Dear Khara, I am writing this to let you know how excellent my experience was at the Velvet Lily internship. When I first met you and Angel I had a good vibe from you guys because you were so excited and eager to teach a student like me a vast amount of skills. However the nature of the business was a little unnerving at first. I didn't know if my school would approve it and I wasn't sure what I was truly getting into. Then when you and Angel told me more about what I was going to be doing and that I would be working from the cafe mainly I felt a little more at ease. I learned so many different skills including how to build a website, how to maintain a website, social media marketing, photoshop, even some aspects of SEO. I also did learn life skills along the way I don't think I have ever met anyone like you guys. To me it was more than an internship it was one of the best opportunities I was ever given. So many people at my school were encouraged to go to NYC for their internships and I unfortunately did not have the money to do so. This made me feel like I wasn't going to get a good internship in Philadelphia and that my chances of getting a job after would be difficult. The people that you guys know and the different clients you have are all great connections and whenever I said "I would like to learn more" or "I would like a career like this" you knew who to call. It was also amazing to see how you guys run your businesses and after learning about the businesses and who you guys are at the end of the day if it's the right people and the knowledge is all there it doesn't matter what the nature of the business is people start to understand. Once again I thank you guys for all you have done, I think about you guys all the time and I want to visit you soon! I will fill you in on my visual merchandising position and all the on goings there! From, Jenny
