The Field/Ops Intern (Intern) will be involved with a number of activities relating to Syncromatics services and support for our clients. During the course of the internship, the Intern will learn and be intimately involved with the following key areas:
Syncromatics systems for customer support ticketing
o The Intern will help facilitate the installation and configuration of a new, integrated system and support the switchover.
Syncromatics technology
o The Intern will need to learn and understand many aspects of the companys hardware and software products in order to properly support the Field/Ops team
o The Intern may have the opportunity to work in the field alongside our team on new installations or troubleshooting.
Customer Support
o The Intern will provide direct support to the Field/Ops team and assist them with hardware provisioning, firmware updating, customer ticketing/support, RMA support and data management.
o The Intern may handle tasks like drawing new customer routes, pulling raw data and prepping it for clients or properly formatting schedule data.
The key thing is this: the Intern will be doing real work and working side-by-side with the rest of the operations team. The Intern will NOT be doing things like getting coffee or picking up lunch. We dont ask our interns to do anything that any one on our team top to bottom - would not be willing to do themselves.
