Independent Designer Looking for student Intern(s)/ Assistants for 2 to 3 month periods (at least 3 days a week). You would be working from my Studio/work space in Ontario, California, so it will be very comfortable and easy going. Position involves working along side designer, cutting samples, sketching, use of adobe illustrator and photoshop, Flat sketching, uploading sale items for websites, draping, pattern making, going to fashion/trade shows, attending photo-shoots on the weekends, PR, marketing, and meeting/contacting potential buyers and boutiques. In exchange for your work, you will be given access to using our sewing equipment and computer resources such as adobe programs for your school work, and get to learn first hand how a start up company operates. This internship is to be used to gain experience and further your knowledge within our small start up company. Furthermore, if you have a specific skill you are looking to learn or a project that you are looking to actualize, we can help you, this includes, but is not limited to photo-shoots of your designs that you create through school or during duration, introduction to agency models, professional photographers and hair and MUAs for your future contacts.
