We are an independent production company and animation studio currently working on theatrical films, TV specials, direct to DVD features and location based entertainment such as Interactive 3D Theme Park Rides. We are looking for smart interns who are organized, detail-oriented, have excellent writing skills and an interest in the business of show business. Duties will include general office and clerical work as research on film financing, production and marketing as well as the creation and drafting of presentations. This is primarily feature film and related productions business development work that will require good creative and business judgment. Great verbal and communication skills are a must. The intern must accurately follow direction and artistic notes. As this position requires extensive research, efficient computer skills are required. In addition, an intern may be asked to help out the studio in non-specific areas such as clean-up, cataloging, EBay selling, moving equipment, copying, scanning and even purchasing. Note: our studio is dog friendly, so anyone with pet allergies or aversions to free roaming pets should not apply. JOB TITLE: SUMMER CAMP ASSISTANT Job Description: Assists Instructors at KidsEye Filmmaking Summer Camp classes. Classes range from special effect, to making documentaries and short films. Bird Rock Productions is a multi-faceted production company that produces everything from Reality TV, television commercial productions, promotional web based presentation's to corporate training video. I'm looking for a team player that's eager to learn and comfortable working on a diversity of projects. One of our core specialties is green screen technologies and practically incorporating it into our clients projects to provide a clearer more defined promotional message for our clients and their prospects. Currently our focus is in implementing chroma-keying technologies into product placement ads and promotional messages. A general understanding of Adobe Premier, Final Cut and or Photoshop would be helpful but not necessarily required if you have a strong desire to learn. We are anticipating needing two to three interns for this position as we are anticipating a significant surge in business over the month of February and on into spring, This internship could lead to a full-time position based on a successful completed internship and your choice to remain with us going forward. And finally, it very possible that we will be producing a new type of reality show that would likely include the production team being directly involved (on air) in the show so a willingness to be on TV would be something to consider in advance. With that said, it's NOT a requirement that you be on the show, we're just looking for people that wouldn't be averse to the idea of being a part of the show specifically as a production team member.
