Interior finish furnishings, such as custom cabinetry, tops, appliances, European and closed systems closets, vanities, doors, wall units and varied woodwork architectural elements. Additionally, we are the exclusive representative for fine Italian cabinetry and furnishings and other select products. Our target market is the high end luxury residential with select commercial projects being secondary focus. We sell to the trade and call on the A and D specification community to support their usage and specification of our products in their projects. The management team is made up of business, mechanical and electrical engineers as well as designers and architects. We sell our products by giving our end user and pro trade clients total solution design support services, estimation and consultative sales and marketing support. Our sale and marketing people are seasoned industry veterans and have strong relationships in the market place. We require a hybrid position from a future graduate architect or designer to get involved in the process from begining to end. To first understand the sales cycle and support such efforts at the site, in our showrooms and at the professional architectural and desing offices so as to lend design and value added support by gaining a thorough knowledge of various products for the new or remodling projects. In addition, to be able to estimate projects and analyse the documentation and bid requirements to provide VE solutions under the supervision of head architects and designers and to provide autocad and other program design services to aid in the sales process of the project. The intern must have strong understanding of the fundamentals of architectural and / or design methodologies and construction.

JOB PURPOSE: Citizens Climate Lobbys (www.citizensclimatelobby.org) mission is to create the political will for a sustainable climate. Our methods include education on the science, economics, politics and public awareness surrounding climate change. CCL works by training citizens in the skills needed to affect change. We contact and meet with Congressional leaders, write letters to the editors of national and local newspapers and attend monthly national conference calls. The position purpose is to support the work of CCL in Virginia. Additionally, this position involves editing and updating advocacy materials, communicating with CCL volunteers, training new CCL volunteers, and researching topics including climate related news and legislation, science, economics, and community groups. Research national college, business and community organizations to build membership. Miscellaneous office duties such as data entry, phone calls and email communications.
