I am looking for an intern with an advanced degree in medicine, public health, or health education to work with my company to create a Health Education certificate program that will be completed through online courses. In order to apply for this internship, please create and send a proposal that outlines the following: 1) A description of the certificate program you will create 2) A chart that lists the number of courses, the names of each course, and the number of units per course. 3) A syllabus for each course that describes a general description, the course objectives, course assignments, necessary textbook(s), grading rubric, and the competencies from the Seven Areas of Responsibility that are being covered within the course. Please remember, all competencies from the Seven Areas must be addressed by the time a student has completed the certificate program. All material you submit in the project proposal will be exclusively owned by you unless you are selected for the internship position. We will evaluate the proposals and select the intern that has the best combination of relevant experience, education, and program designed. Any certificate proposals that do not fully address how the course content will cover the competencies listed in the Seven Areas of Responsibility will be discarded. We will provide the online course environment to host the certificate program, but the contractor will be responsible for developing the course content and loading the content into the online course environment.

Overview: Since 2002, the Clinton Health Access Initiative, CHAI (formerly the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative), has been assisting developing countries in implementing large-scale, integrated HIV care, treatment, and prevention programs. CHAI is currently active in Africa, the Caribbean, Asia, and Eastern Europe. In support of national HIV/AIDS programs, CHAI provides technical assistance, mobilizes human and financial resources, and facilitates the sharing of best practices across projects. CHAI has also negotiated agreements with leading pharmaceutical companies that have lowered the cost of HIV/AIDS and malaria diagnostics and treatment in the developing world by 30-90%. CHAI first partnered with the Government of Cambodia in February 2005 to enable the country access to affordable drug and lab commodity prices through CHAIs Procurement Consortium. CHAI provides technical assistance to the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STDs (NCHADS) for projects related to logistics, supply chain management, laboratory strengthening, pediatric care and treatment scale-up and prevention of mother-to-child transmission. Following a successful scale-up of PMTCT services Cambodia endeavours to eliminate mother to child transmission of HIV by the year 2020. CHAI is currently seeking candidates for the position of County Analyst to work with the HIV team in Cambodia. Reporting to the Country Director, the Phnom Penh based analyst will support the launch and implementation of a national campaign to eliminate vertical transmission of HIV. A minimum commitment of 18 months is preferred for this role.

Interns will acquire experience in health education, community development and health promotion, program planning, budget management, group presentations, and advocacy. While our focus is clients with MS, interns can research and learn about wellness topics and skills applicable to any setting. Minimum of 6 month commitment required.

Looking for interns for a developing health and wellness program at Craig Hospital. The PEAK is a fully accessible, holistic,community-based health and wellness center for individuals with neurological disabilities.

The intern in our Children/Bridge Program will assist the staff with various tasks such as program and field trip planning and assisting the teachers in the classrooms and with workshops. Marthas Tables educational programs provide services to children ages five through thirteen, five days a week both before and after school. The intern will help maintain the safe, nurturing and educational environment that our Children/Bridge programs provide. Marthas Tables Internship Program was created in May 2011. It provides students the opportunity to gain real nonprofit experience that will benefit them in their future endeavors. Prior to establishing the program, Marthas Table had had some interns in a few departments. The Internship Program provides a structure as well as several meetings/workshops for the interns to participate in. The interns are to keep track of their work in individual logs, are assigned various projects to work on through the term and are included in department meetings. The internships vary in length, from 3 weeks to a semester, based on the needs of both the intern and the program they are interning with. Each intern is treated as a staff member to ensure they get the most out of their experience.

ALL PRO Health Center is currently accepting interns at both the Arcadia facility and the Lakewood facility. This is a volunteer position with an incredible learning potential. All training will be provided. Optional opportunity: There are several off-site locations available for a qualified intern that has a background in sports medicine and is competent with athletic training duties to perform assessment and management of sports injuries, first aid, and emergency care protocol.
