The Prevention Recovery in Early Psychosis Youth Advisory Council (PYAC) serve a crucial role to ensuring that young people with psychosis can get access to services and supports they need to reach recovery. The PREP Youth Advisory Council (PYAC), is an initiative spearheaded through the partnership between the Mental Health Association of San Francisco (MHASF) and the Prevention Recovery in Early Psychosis (PREP) based on the belief that young people provide a unique role in eliminating stigma around psychosis and necessary perspective for improving access to mental health services for other young people who may be at-risk or experiencing psychosis. As a PYAC member you will be participating on monthly PYAC meetings to develop collateral and marketing materials for outreach, collaborating to develop a youth-friendly presentation about psychosis, have opportunities to lead youth outreach, participate in developing a video about PREP services, and serving as the youth voice for PREP Executive Team. PYAC members will also be engaging in Mental Health Advocacy efforts to ensure Mental Health Services for youth are appropriate, accessible and available.

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) is a fast-growing association of patients, family members and medical professionals committed to maintaining the organization's volunteer spirit and to building opportunities for those affected by pulmonary hypertension (PH) to be involved in solutions to the challenges the illness creates. PHA Online University is an educational resource for healthcare professionals emphasizing the latest in diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension. PHAs Digital Media Internship offers students a structured experience working with the Medical Education team to support PHA Online University. Through mixed audiovisual, print, and social media, medical professionals can access everything they need for PH-related medical resources. Our goal is for PHA Online University to serve as a hub for PH specialists who wish to sharpen their skills, and also serve as an important means of raising awareness about PH among the medical community. Counter Culture Pottery is a ceramics design studio located in Berkeley, California. The business specializes in producing a high quality ceramic fermentation crock to be used in the home fermentation process of making sauerkraut, kimchee, or other live culture foods. The design and business are the creative work of Sarah Kersten, an independent & entrepreneurial ceramic artist. The summer of 2013 is a big turning point for Counter Culture pottery. We are turning the design for the fermentation crock into a slip cast mold, allowing us to initially double our production rate, with plans for continued expansion. With the use of the mold, Counter Culture Pottery will begin to expand the line of goods produced and offered. We are looking for a marketing intern who will help Counter Culture Pottery establish a brand identity and promote that brand identity online and to retail accounts. There are a lot of positive ideals behind Counter Culture Pottery, and we are interested in promoting the healthy lifestyle of home fermentation and the beauty of craftsmanship and functional design. Fit Code Performance and Fitness is currently seeking interns for the adult fitness programs, as well as the youth athletic development program (Athletic Revolution). All training sessions take place within on of the Fit Code Facilities. 60-90 day Internship preferred. Fit Code will begin reviewing candidates in March. Number of positions available limited.
