Instructional Design Intern

The Patient Access & Registration department exists to assist families with the registration process and access to our hospital and satellite facilities. We strive to deliver world class customer service to every patient and their families. Through staff education, we can work towards achieving success in improving patient wait times, streamlining the insurance eligibility verification process, proper patient financial services and revenue cycle administration. The Instructional Design interns will play an important role in developing eLearning modules and printed training materials and collaborate with Patient Access & Registration trainers to increase the number of training resources available to staff. In this internship, the Instructional Design interns will be responsible for analyzing training needs, working with subject matter experts to gather information, storyboard the training materials to be developed, design and develop instructionally sound training. The interns will have the opportunity to work with experienced and professional trainers, instructional designers and training analysts to learn effective training methods, including the Captivate authoring tool. Intern applicants must be able to commit to 24 unpaid hours per week for a minimum of 6 months to qualify. Venue Management and Marketing Intern

LENGTH: 90 day minimum ( Start and end date will be predetermined prior to starting ) IDEAL CANDIDATE: Someone who is looking to gain more insight on managing an event venue (The Duportail House) and utilizing marketing techniques for clients of Luxe Marketing. Must be professional, detail-oriented and personable. DESCRIPTION: This position includes working from the office (at DuPortail or home office) at least one day a week and working at home . This is an unpaid internship. Tasks will vary on a day to day basis and may include the following: -Gain testimonials from past clients to display on various wedding websites, our website and marketing material. -Maintain relationships with our Preferred Vendors. Build new relationships by networking and researching vendors throughout the area. -Be responsible for writing blogs about our recent events and sharing them via social media. -Utilize current marketing techniques to gain new leads and market to current leads, resulting in new clients. -Reach out to photographers and videographers after an event to gain photos and video for marketing purposes. -Assist in preparing for Open House events. Including finding vendors to participate, marketing to potential leads and set-up of the event. -Be on site during events being held at DuPortail and assist in preparing for these events. -Assist in creating sample floor plans to share with perspective and current clients. -Assist with daily tasks and events for clients of Luxe Marketing. Some clients include Mainline, Bucks Life and Chutzpah Magazine and Chariot Valet.
