Tenants and Workers United, a non-profit community organization, has been active in the Arlandria / Chirilagua neighborhood of Alexandria, Virginia for over 24 years. Our mission is to win social and economic justice for low-income people of color in Northern Virginia through community organizing, leadership development, and civic engagement. Examples of our current work include organizing for educational justice in Alexandria Schools; advocating to improve access to healthcare for the low-income, uninsured; and supporting immigrants in their fight for comprehensive immigration reform. In addition to the above work, TWUs Community Social Service Program provides a variety of services to the local low-income, immigrant community. We are seeking interns to support this aspect of our work.

Ocean City Advertising Agency, Quiet Resorts Public Relations and Shore Facts Marketing Research provide a selection of challenging internships for college students who wish to enhance their educational studies with on-the-job work experience. A student selects an internship from 30 different areas of emphasis. Internships are offered on a for-credit/for-experience/voluntary basis and are selectively filled on a first-come/first-served basis.

Job Summary: Performs receptionist and concierge duties in the LaSalle Lobby on behalf of Bank and building tenants. Answers questions from building occupants (employees and tenants) and from visitors and guests. Serves as main contact for visitor entry into the Bank by facilitating entry process and maintaining appropriate records. Maintains a working knowledge of all areas of the Bank and Tenant functions. Maintains relationships with departmental and tenant hosts. Provides assistance in directing visitors and administrative needs for meetings and tours. Works closely with Law Enforcement Unit and Hospitality services. Provides administrative support related to numerous activities. The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff work under general supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.

The Community Programs Intern assists regional staff, including Community Program Coordinators and the Western Region Director, in delivering Starlight programs in San Diego, San Francisco or Los Angeles. Develops resources and promotes awareness among potential clients in order to implement Starlight programs. This position reports directly to the Western Region Director and works closely with the local markets Community Program Coordinator.

NAPA Center is a intensive therapy clinic offering therapies programs developed from techniques found across the world. We are looking for an intern who is comfortable working in a face paced environment to help us grow both our national and international programs. You'll be working under the Director of Marketing and Sales in a variety of marketing positions. This position offers the potential to lead into a full-time marketing representative position with NAPA Center.
