POSITION DESCRIPTION: The primary role of the 2013 AirVenture Hospitality Internship Program is for the interns to gain a working knowledge of everything that goes into the planning and execution of a successful AirVenture. In addition to this exposure, they will also gain working knowledge of hospitality management responsibilities by working in a variety of different roles during AirVenture week in one of many hospitality locations on the AirVenture grounds. This experience will provide the interns with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge about planning, execution and managing large-scale events and guest services. Rrivreworks has leant it's hand in design for both Kardashian Weddings, MTV movie awards, Disney, and the California Science Center. Rrivre Works is seeking a highly motivated marketing and sales intern to assist the sales team in obtaining new client leads and building relationships with our current clients. The intern will also be expected to assist the event production and design team in writing proposals for event rentals and managing event invoices. Occasionally the intern will need to be at event sites to assist the production team and supervise install, as well as acting as a liaison between the client and the Rrivre Works team.

Ski Travel Unlimited, skitravel.com and the Fairfax Surf Shop is based in Fairfax City, VA. Ski Travel Unlimited has operated high school and college ski/snowboard trips to Canada for over 30 years. Presently, Ski Travel takes students from over 100+ high schools in the VA, MD, Washington DC metro area and over 350 colleges all over the north-eastern United States. Nearly 4,000 students annually attend our trips to the world-class resort at Mont Tremblant in Quebec, Canada, Seven Springs, PA and other ski resorts. The Fairfax Surf Shop is a landmark surf-snow-skate retail shop that has been located in the City of Fairfax for 38 years. In addition, for the past five summers, the Fairfax Surf Shop and Ski Travel have coordinated the annual non-profit event, SkateFest Fairfax and Sk8 for a Cause to raise money for the Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C. The intern will be assist with the public relations for the SkateFest and Sk8 for a Cause event. Responsibilites include, but are not limited to drafting of press releases, contact with media outlets, scheduling of events, signage help, and promotions. The Lucy Desi Center for Comedy has a four-pillar Legacy of Laughter vision that includes The Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, Comedic Arts Education Program, Comedy Film Festival, and the establishment of the first National Comedy Museum and Hall of Fame.
