Marketing/Communications/ Public Relations Intern WANTED. Unpaid, but will gain experience by applying knowledge to business situations and real time Marketing.

As an intern for the BOSSArc division of Business Office Support Services, LLC, students will be presented with the opportunity to craft interior plans for illustrating their design ideas and demonstrating their personal level of creativity. BOSSArc utilizes standard industry software including Autocad to produce detailed drawings for architects, and contractors throughout Florida. Students will have the opportunity to work side by side with key building designers to produce well thought out, and flowing interior and exterior designs to be sold in the local real estate market.

The Grid is a new upscale bar, lounge concept in the River North area of downtown Chicago. We are the brother bar to Baume & Brix, a modern playful fine dining restaurant located right above The Grid. Our partner chefs Benjamin Roche (previously with ING) and Thomas Elliott Bowman (previously with Moto) along with our Chef de Cuisine Nate Park (also previously with Moto) have taken the concepts of sweet and savory to create a playful menu experience at Baume & Brix, while creating a separate menu for us down at The Grid with new twists on bar favorites. The Grid is a beautiful venue, with 5 large, leather booths, ventless floating fireplaces, communal high tops, over 25 TVs, Funktion one sound system, high beamed ceilings, exposed brick and stainless steel ceilings give it a very masculine feel, or as we like to call it "Ron Burgandy's bar". We are looking to build a team of 3-5 interns with backgrounds in marketing, event planning, public relations, graphic design and sales. Ideally we are looking for individuals who are willing to grow with our new company. Interns will be handling social media sites, create flyers and promotional material. A major part of the position is incentive based event planning. The ideal candidate is outspoken, driven, a go getter mentality is required in this industry and we expect that from each of our interns.

Assist in booking statewide, national and international tours and concerts for the Lula Washington Dance Theatre - a contemporary African-American modern dance company based in South Los Angeles. Will report to the Executive Director and assist him in securing performance engagements for the dance company. Will handle local as well as national/international engagements.

SuperSibs!, a national nonprofit organization that recognizes, honors, and supports siblings of pediatric cancer patients, is seeking an Event Planning Intern to commit to 12-15 hours/week from January through mid-May. As the Special Event Intern, you will assist with planning and execution of a special event in May of 2013. The ideal SuperSibs! candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, leadership and the ability to work independently, as well as interest in our mission to support siblings and their families through a cancer diagnosis. We welcome fresh ideas to help us achieve our objectives. The SuperSibs! headquarters is open Monday through Friday from 9am-5:00pm. Interns are expected to work during business hours and commit to a consistent, weekly schedule for the duration of the internship. Some evenings may be required. All intern positions at SuperSibs! are UNPAID. Students will learn valuable leadership and team building skills while working at a national nonprofit organization.
