Back End Engineer
Arise Design — New York, NY — Virtual
We haven't committed to a particular tech stack at this point, so we are looking for someone who can help us put a solution in place that will scale with our business. Because we need to support eCommerce in our MVP, we will probably find an out-of-the-box solution that is somewhat functionally similar to what we want to do and customize from there. However, we are open to building this from scratch if someone is passionate about tackling that kind of challenge and feels strongly that it would be the best way to go. This role will collaborate closely with a UX Designer and front-end Engineer. You will be empowered to select the technology and structure the back-end in the way you see best and given the autonomy to make critical decisions, so you must be a self-motivated problem solver.
