The Childrens Law Center New York (CLCNY) is a not-for-profit law firm that provides representation to children in custody/visitation, domestic violence, guardianship and child protective cases in Family and Criminal Court matters. CLCNY seeks an intern to work with the Human Resources Manager on several HR projects in our Brooklyn office. The intern will gain exposure to many of the key HR disciplines, including Employment Law, Total Rewards, Employee Relations and Communications, Risk Management, Strategic Management and HRIS. Depending on the knowledge, skills and abilities of the selected candidate, the intern will complete or assist with the following projects: - Research, design and present a new hire/employee onboarding program (pre-boarding, on boarding and separation) - Develop spreadsheets and accompanying graphic tools for reporting on hires, turnover, benefits, salaries, etc - Assist with article research for employee newsletter; draft articles - Assist with research and design of new intranet - Develop and maintain database (Access), accompanying forms, etc - Assist with research, design and collection related to employee survey
