Mwari Magazine seeks ambitious interns with a passion for magazines and an insatiable appetite for knowledge. Editorial interns will work under the supervision of the Editor-in-Chief and provide support services to the other editors of the magazine. Duties include, but are not limited to: writing, administrative support, attendance at events, social media updates, event planning, public relations outreach, scheduling and more.

SPECIMEN MAGAZINE features interviews with career scholars from around the nation. Right now we are working on issue 2, the Stanford issue. Interviews are nearly complete, however, we will be looking ahead to issue 3 soon and transcribing issue 2 in the meantime. Primary tasks of the interview assistant are: Assisting with interviews and interview question research and development. Transcribing interviews. Participating in decision-making discussions regarding content, images, marketing.

VOSE Magazine is the passport to a world of style and luxe experiences for affluent and aspirational people with diverse cultural backgrounds. We are focused on sharing multi-cultural experiences to the world, showcasing luxury fashion, diverse music, exotic destinations and upcoming films.

Specimen Magazine is a quarterly publication featuring interviews with university professors. We are a small team that is based out of Oakland, but meet up more frequently in Berkeley. Specimen is looking for a graphic designer to help us create a more visually sophisticated publication in InDesign. Photoshop and e-publishing skills are a plus. This is an unpaid internship: 3-6 months

Urban Homme magazine is in need of a group of excellent design interns. These qualified and adept individuals will be involved in helping to aid in putting together the web layout of the online magazine. Skills in photoshop, CSS, and other design platforms are a must. Experience in photography is also a welcomed skill. All interns must posses excellent time management skills and be able to meet deadlines on time. As with any creative field, a passion of the art must also be present.

UZURI is looking for a guest writers for their fashion blog/magazine. The blog covers fashion related topics, including beauty/fashion trends/designers/models and fashion news/updates. A good knowledge of fashion or beauty is required. Previous internship or school-publication experience is preferred but not required.
