The mission of Reiman Gardens Internship Program is to promote the professional and intellectual development of students through a multi-disciplinary educational approach and hands-on work experience. The internship program is scheduled to begin on May 13, 2013 and is finalized on August 9, 2013. Each intern is required to work in their specialized area four and a half days a week with one half day a week reserved for educational workshops, demonstrations, and field trips for a total of 40 hours per week, including some weekend and evening hours. All interns are required to complete various internship components through the guidance of their supervisor and develop a talk on their internship experience. Presentations will be given in a public session at a Brown Bag Lecture. In addition, the interns will work as a team to complete a project to help the Gardens. Application materials are due Friday, February 15, 2013. Interviews will be conducted in February and March with final decisions made by March 22, 2013.

Overview: Minnesota Children's Museum is dedicated to providing children with a fun, hands-on and stimulating environment to explore and discover. We offer a variety of unique internships that are an opportunity for you to gain practical experience and develop workplace skills. Internships at the Museum are part-time (about 10 hours per week for 10-12 weeks). Applicants typically have completed at least one year of college and must be at least 18 years old. Position Summary: Facilitate live and non-live animal education programs for Museum visitors. The intern will use the Museums collection of live animals to spark visitors interest in the natural world. In addition to programming, the intern will assist in care of the Museums live animals.

Nashville Zoo specializes in natural immersion exhibitry transporting guests into a multi-sensory adventure at each habitat, utilizing horticulture either from or closely resembling the native geographical locations, soothing sounds from the region, and natural, invisible barriers whenever possible.

The Butterfly House, a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden, is looking for interns in their Education Department. Interns will assist in creating programming or short presentations to be used for general public visitors. Other responsibilities will include helping with classes and Outreach programs. Interns will have direct interaction with the public on a regular basis. Interns may be involved with the following areas of our education program: 1. providing presentations to students and informal opportunities to guests about butterflies, invertebrates and their environments using live insects. 2. Helping with outreach programs throughout the metropolitan St. Louis area for classes and groups. 3. Staffing the instructional cart, a hands-on area, where guests can touch cocoons, insect molts, and many other items.

Microneedle rollers are used for facial rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, skin texture/tone improvement, scar removal and etc. This device is used at physicians offices or by aestheticians. DTS MG also developed rollers for home users. I build distribution channels for DTS MG worldwide and will focus more in Americas including Central / South America. I am also responsible to develop OEM / private label customers. i currenlty manage India, USA, the Middle East, North africa, Central/south america Hansderma is US sales office that sells rollers and other skincare products from DTS MG. Duties Back-up to stockroom 2-3 hours per day Help in mapping out entire University- all lab related building opportunities, by wing and floor identified Understand stockroom locations, products stocked and processes used to procure Distribute literature and products to the designated labs and discuss the potential benefits to the customers. Follow-up on orders and quotes. Be able to demo effectively vwr.com and set up profiles for end users on vwr.com Assist in product shows and demos Prepare reports and promotional materials as needed (make up sample kits) Assist in new lab start-ups Assist with manufacturers and VWR support people activities Support sales efforts in assigned duties- cart shows/sample blitzes

The Patchwork Group, a nonprofit organization that provides health education and services to at-risk populations, is looking for interns to join our team. At the completion of the internship, the intern will have concrete experience presenting basic health information to diverse audiences.

Puentes is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide equal access to healthy, high-quality, safe and affordable food for people in all communities. Puentes implements this mission by providing hands-on training, on-the-ground demonstration, outreach and technical assistance through the development of Community Food Systems that help people grow, process, market and distribute food in a sustainable manner. The chosen interns will assist Puentes in all aspects of community food system development, urban agriculture, small farmer outreach, and youth development through innovative sustainable approaches. Interns work 3-5 days per week, averaging 20-40 hours of work per week. It is intensive job training experience and requires at least an 6 month commitment. All interns must have a positive attitude, an ability to receive constructive criticism, and a strong work ethic. Interns will receive supervision, intensive hands-on training, and skill sets acquisition with the opportunity to conduct and implement independent projects.
