Wanted: Interns for Animation pre-production Unpaid. School credit is required. We are an independent animation studio currently working on TV specials, direct to DVD features, and Interactive 3D Rides. We are looking for interns who are interested in animation production and have some experience with art and design. Our interns help create the look of our projects by researching for texture references, creating style guides, graphics, and may include some modeling and texturing. This is primarily development and pre-production work that will require a good artistic eye and the ability to accurately follow direction and artistic notes. Note: our studio is dog friendly, so anyone with pet allergies or aversions to free roaming pets should not apply.

Intelligentsia International, together with University of Florida and Edison State College, U.S. Department of Energy have created the Hendry County Sustainable Biofuels Center. Mission of the new project is to initiate research, development, and education programs related to biofuels, biomass farming and fuel conversion systems. The objective of this assignment is to propose an alternative, sustainable sugarcane farming system for south Florida. This new system should aim to provide multiple benefits, to balance various economic, social and ecological needs, address water storage, water flow, water quality, biodiversity, soil subsidence, carbon emissions, and biofuel production.

The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium offers school groups, families and visitors a unique view into the ocean world right outside our doors. It is home to more than one hundred organisms native to the Santa Monica Bay. Interactive displays, touch tanks filled with tide pool animals, a shark tank exhibit and a microscope lab are some of the main features of the Aquarium. As Heal the Bays marine education facility, the Aquarium also strives to teach visitors about the importance of environmental stewardship and marine conservation. The Social Media Intern will help in the research and development of content for the Aquariums social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and the website blog. Interns will also assist with the monitoring and tracking of the effectiveness of these platforms. Past experience with social technologies is a must and applicants should submit a list of personal social media accounts maintained with their cover letter and application. We are also looking for a candidate with strong writing skills as well as experience in photography, videography and/or graphic design/Photoshop. Interns will be supervised by the Aquariums Programs Manager and also work closely with Heal the Bays Communications team.

Left Forum seeks to fill a part-time fundraising and development internship for the Spring-Summer 2013 periods. This internship starts immediately. This is a three to six month internship or a one or two semester internship and it can be scheduled according to the academic calendar year as needed. We seek a motivated individual interested in learning about fundraising infrastructure and helping to coordinate fundraising and social events.
