We are seeking a journalism intern who has a nose for news. We would like soft news stories covering the areas that we are helping. We would also like our journalists to write stories covering events, programs, and progress. This intern will publish to our website as well as other news sources. We have topics in mind and would be open to your ideas/suggestions as well. **Internship is remote, which means it does NOT have to be on site

CollegeRecipes.com is an emerging website that aims to bring simple, delicious and fun recipes, as well as various other entertaining content to college students. This role will aim at developing students creative and editorial abilities while providing real-world experience. The site's editorial team will be constructing and executing a busy editorial calendar during the summer months. To do this best, our goal is to have a wide array of content (video & text) from of a variety of voices, 'Contributing Writers,' particularly actual college students like yourself. A special part of this vision, is our plan for the Alcohol portion of the site. In constructing this, the initial priority will be to establish recipes and photographs for all basic cocktails. After this, specialty recipes and alcohol related articles and or blogs will be prioritized, to keep this portion of the website growing. What is expected of a Contributing Bartender Writer? Whatever you can commit to. At this point, we have no budget and can not offer any form of monetary compensation. We understand that college students are busy and we want to have mutually-beneficial relationships with our writers. We expect a Contributing Bartender Writer to commit to submitting 2-3 pieces of content every week, as scheduled by the editorial calendar. At minimum, we ask for a commitment of 1 piece of content, every week, as scheduled. Types of content will obviously include Cocktail Recipes, and also Bar related articles and blogs. Writers can choose to author a biweekly or weekly column, or simply contribute one-off recipes and articles. The experience can help you to develop your personal editorial brand, connect with a larger audience & gain writing and editorial experience working with an online publication. Internship with News for Beginners. News for Beginners is an English learning website that aims to provide news to students who are just beginning to learn English. It is a news papers for learners. The news articles are easy to read and provide real, current information about world events from people who live in different countries. We are looking for one or two students (or graduates) who are interested in journalism and social issues in their country and surrounding area. The selected applicant will write short articles about the current events that are happening in their country. The applicant must be: Able to speak English at an intermediate or advance level Located in the country about which they are writing. Interested in journalism, studying journalism, political science or related topics Able to carefully follow instructions via email Able to get regular access to the internet The selected applicant will be required to: Communicate with the Director of News for Beginners on a regular basis Submit one article per week about an important event, topic or issue happening in their country Applicants must submit: A resume (CV) A picture A cover letter explaining his/her interests, future ambitions and a brief explanation of the issues his or her country is dealing with at the moment.
