Global Insights Research & Analytics (GIRA) empowers Visa Global Marketing, Product and Sales with timely and objective research, insights, advanced analytics, and consultation on the full range of Visas businesses.

POSITION SCOPE

The MBA internship will provide the opportunity to become intimately involved in Measuring Marketing results for a world-class marketing organization. You will gain exposure to a range of tools from brand & ad trackers, sponsorship trackers, MROI (Marketing Return on Investment) and social media listening tools.

Responsibilities
- The MBA intern will be responsible for delivering a meaningful and comprehensive project in one of the following areas:
- Social Media Listening & Measurement
- Multi-Screen World measuring across screens
- Mobile Marketing Measurement
- Sponsorship or Brand Measurement

The MBA project will:
- Be a self-contained 10-week effort that challenges the candidate to make a meaningful impact on Visa and its ongoing Marketing Measurement efforts
- Ensure opportunity to gain exposure across GIRA and Visa Marketing
- Culminate with a presentation to senior leaders

Additional responsibilities will include ad hoc support of GIRA Team on an as needed basis

Qualifications
-Undergraduate degree earned; MBA from a top-tier institution expected in 2014. Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time relevant work experience; strategy consulting or financial services experience preferred.
-Professionally qualified with typically at least 5+ years of Marketing, Consulting or Analytics experience.
-Experience in Financial Services or Payments Industry desired; consulting or investment banking experience also viewed favorably.
-Ability to take initiative and operate with limited guidance in a complex environment.
-Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact.
-Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
-Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
-Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop quantitative models (e.g. business case and complex forecasting).
-Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and highly proficient with PowerPoint.

The Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) is a fast-growing association of patients, family members and medical professionals committed to maintaining the organization's volunteer spirit and to building opportunities for those affected by pulmonary hypertension (PH) to be involved in solutions to the challenges the illness creates. PHA Online University is an educational resource for healthcare professionals emphasizing the latest in diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary hypertension. PHAs Digital Media Internship offers students a structured experience working with the Medical Education team to support PHA Online University. Through mixed audiovisual, print, and social media, medical professionals can access everything they need for PH-related medical resources. Our goal is for PHA Online University to serve as a hub for PH specialists who wish to sharpen their skills, and also serve as an important means of raising awareness about PH among the medical community. You will be treated as a respected team member. Our office is a friendly and welcoming environment.
