POSITION SCOPE

The MBA internship will provide the opportunity to become intimately involved in Measuring Marketing results for a world-class marketing organization. You will gain exposure to a range of tools from brand & ad trackers, sponsorship trackers, MROI (Marketing Return on Investment) and social media listening tools.

Responsibilities
- The MBA intern will be responsible for delivering a meaningful and comprehensive project in one of the following areas:
- Social Media Listening & Measurement
- Multi-Screen World measuring across screens
- Mobile Marketing Measurement
- Sponsorship or Brand Measurement

The MBA project will:
- Be a self-contained 10-week effort that challenges the candidate to make a meaningful impact on Visa and its ongoing Marketing Measurement efforts
- Ensure opportunity to gain exposure across GIRA and Visa Marketing
- Culminate with a presentation to senior leaders

Additional responsibilities will include ad hoc support of GIRA Team on an as needed basis

Qualifications
-Undergraduate degree earned; MBA from a top-tier institution expected in 2014. Minimum of 3-5 years of full-time relevant work experience; strategy consulting or financial services experience preferred.
-Professionally qualified with typically at least 5+ years of Marketing, Consulting or Analytics experience.
-Experience in Financial Services or Payments Industry desired; consulting or investment banking experience also viewed favorably.
-Ability to take initiative and operate with limited guidance in a complex environment.
-Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present with impact.
-Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
-Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
-Excellent analytical skills and the ability to develop quantitative models (e.g. business case and complex forecasting).
-Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook and highly proficient with PowerPoint.

? Assist in conducting various types of user research as part of overall UX engagements. Analyze and prepare findings for inclusion in project reports and executive presentations, working in collaboration with the other User Experience Researchers.
? Collaborate with the project team, business stakeholders, and technical teams in the translation of user research output into user requirements and design recommendations.
? Support User Experience Researchers and User Experience Information Designers in a wide variety of cross-organization and corporate projects as required.

Our lab investigates the molecular biology of melanoma. This is a translational medicine-oriented lab which includes investigation of patient samples from our clinic. This is a research position. We look at the genetics and mechanisms involved in cancer and treatments. Interns would learn alongside physicians and other professionals in a laboratory setting in isolating nucleic acids and other cell components for analysis towards discovering new and useful information leading to treatment and diagnosis. There would also be possibility for clinical discussions.
