Since its launch in 2010, PreMedLife magazine has grown to over 21,000 readers and the digital edition has seen over 1 million page views. Working virtually from your home or dorm room, the Editorial Assistant will participate in a variety of tasks including general research, correspondence, fact-checking, proofreading, and other activities as needed. In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting and writing stories, principally for online publication This internship position requires a 10 hour per week commitment for an initial period of 3 months. The ideal Editorial Assistant aspires to a career in publishing, is computer literate, has a demonstrated interest in writing, and is social media savvy.
