Divalicious Media is in need of a journalism student who is interesting in helping to develop a style blog network. The intern will be responsible for creating unique content including up to 5 blog posts per week.

Gain experience in all aspects of running a full time established music business in one the main music centers of the US. Touring, booking, concert promotion, ect.. Learn all aspects of running a full time music business. Record keeping, accounting, marketing, PR, advertising, scheduling meetings, dealing with the media, sales calls, writing press releases, and much more. Requirements: Solid computer, people, and phone skills required. Functional knowledge of ms word and excel a must. A plus if you know photoshop and some web design basics. Rock Edition is an up-and-coming website based in Manhattan. We're looking for writers passionate about music journalism. You'll have opportunities to attend shows, interview well-known bands, and learn about the industry. We do this for fun, so the internship is unpaid. It's not a full-time commitment. Everything can be done from home.

The Education/Library Intern works under the supervision of the Director of Education/Librarian and Education Assistant. Duties include assisting with the annual Festival of New Artists; NYU Writers Residency; Music Direction Intensive; Audition Intensive; conducting research for a variety of educational projects; assisting with projects in the Scherer Library of Musical Theatre; marketing and planning for other Goodspeed Institute educational intensives; general correspondence clerical work, and other tasks as assigned. Requirements: Completion of at least freshman year of college and a demonstrated interest in Theatre Education. Candidates must have an attention to detail, excellent writing, communication, and research skills. Interns should also be proficient in using Excel and Word. Must have his/her own transportation.
