Job Description:
This position requires that you have strong search engine marketing, organic marketing, PPC marketing, or training in marketing, advertising, communications, or public relations.
Work under the direction of Internet marketing specialist and alongside the marketing team in the development and implementation of Internet marketing campaigns (PPC, Organic, Social Media Marketing)
Assist in the expansion of comprehensive keyword lists manually
Research on campaign objectives
Must stay on the cutting edge of trends and techniques on the Internet and in the marketing industry
Frequent daily interaction with clients and consumers via various social media websites
Strong English and writing skills required for blogging and correspondence
Manage multiple tasks at once
Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work in a fact paced team environment
In this position it is imperative to be detailed oriented, flexible, and have strong organizational and creative problem solving skills
You will be assigned various tasks over the duration of your internship, however, your reoccurring responsibilities include blog posting, status updates, and frequent Tweets.
Each week you will submit a brief summary of your work experience for that week, the good, the bad, and the ugly. You will also contribute ideas and feedback to our marketing team and clients.
For the 2011-2012 academic years most interns will be assigned to our Internet radio account, TGK Radio (mytgkradio.com) is a station in the process of completely revamping its name, branding, and promotional messaging.
In January 2012 TGK Radio will transform into UrbanMusic.fm and begin to cater to a more diverse audience. You will assist in the development and implementation of this new brand.
