This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position. This person will serve as an Educator and work in the Education Department of the Brandywine Zoo. The role of the Zoo Educator is to lead informal and formal education opportunities both on and off site, serves as a lead educator for summer Zoo Camps, and assist with special events. Were looking for an individual with great people skills (especially with children!), self-starter, able to work as part of a team and independently, energetic, positive, creative, sense of humor, and has a passion for the environment! Zoo Educators are expected to be fun, safe, conscientious, and a committed leader who gets along well with others. Hours: Flexible hours required Monday Sunday. Approximately 40 hours per week. Including some weekends and evenings. Dates: March 18th, 2013 March 18th, 2014 (Some flexibility with start and end dates) Salary: Stipend of $100/week paid through the Delaware State Park Intern Program. Housing may be available. It is an up and coming dance label specialising in Funky house/house/electro pop and soulful ballads. WE are looking for a hard working/keen, enthusiastic intern to lead on our social media and promo campaigns. It helps if you have had previous experience in the music industry , though this is NOT essential (desirable). We are looking for someone with skills to build our online fan base, devise strategies to identify and target potential music buyers; strategies to sell our online CD- design of future CD covers, releases. You will need to be able to add value to our label and to think creatively and have the confidence to 'think outside the box', with limited resources. The post is a remote one, with skype available for discussion etc etc. You will need to be able to manage your time, you will need to be hard working, dependable and reliable. Due to the nature of the business you will sometimes be expected to 'go the extra mile' eg a big release on a monday, we may need your input over a week end-very rare but possible. What do you get? Position: Social Services Intern Department: Senior Services Reports to: Social Services Manager Last Updated: 1 Position Summary: The Social Services Intern will assist Caseworkers with various government programs and other benefit applications. The Intern will observe client intake processes, and also screen clients for potential benefits. The position will learn about different Social Services and government programs available to Hanover Township senior citizens, and pursue training as-needed. Interns may assist or supervise the following programs: Adopt-A-Senior, Caregiver Support Group, Caring for Your Memory Support Group, C-HOPE, Latino Outreach, and others. The position will also work to assist Social Services team with electronic Resource File and ensuring it is up-to-date. The Intern will be responsible for updating housing, home health, handyman, food pantry, home-delivered meals programs, transportation services, and other referral sources. The Intern may also develop a marketing plan for future and current programs. This opportunity may also include making presentations to senior living facilities or other agencies to increase awareness of Social Services offered at Hanover Township. The Intern will be responsible for conducting outreach events, as well as assisting with marketing of programs and services. The position will assist in planning and promotion of Support Groups, special projects, and other Social Services events and programs.

The use of metal oxide nanomaterials in industrial, household, and medicinal products (e.g. cosmetics, paints, and implantable devices) is increasingly widespread and contact with these materials is not only unavoidable, but exposure is often intentional. The intern will have an integral role in research efforts to further understand and predict the effects of metal oxide nanomaterials and how these man-made materials interact with biological processes. Furthermore, the intern will collaborate with leading nanotechnology experts to evaluate metal oxide nanomaterials to protect human health and the environment, leading to possible research publication co-authorship.
