Licensing / Data Management Departments The Licensing Department processes and verifies licensing requests for the reproduction of musical compositions on behalf of our publisher principals. Our goal is to obtain complete and accurate information from licensees to assure efficient handling of all requests in a timely manner which results in royalty collections on behalf of our publisher clients. The primary purpose of the Data Management Department is to rationalize and integrate the process and strategy of managing musical composition, sound recordings, licensing and royalty data. The integration of this data into a singular and broader rights management and business intelligence platform is vital to HFAs ability to drive commerce. We offer internships in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Spring and Fall internships are part-time positions (12-15 hrs/week), unpaid, school credit only. International Rivers is a non-profit research and advocacy organization headquartered in Berkeley, California, with staff and consultants currently working in Brazil, China, India, South Africa and Thailand. International Rivers supports communities around the world in protecting their rivers and rights. We work to halt destructive dams and encourage better methods of meeting needs for water, energy and protection from floods. International Rivers' Policy Program works to strengthen the social and environmental policies of dam builders and financiers, and to build the capacity of civil society and dam-affected communities to defend their rights. We are seeking a part-time (16-20 hours/week) intern for 3 months during Spring and Summer 2013 (with possibility of extension) to assist with the creation of a major report on the current state of the world's rivers. The report will include an in-depth research component on indicators of river basin health, and will analyze our experiences and lessons with specific dam projects, developers, and cross-cutting issues over the past decade. The Policy Program Intern will play a critical role in the project team by supporting the research, production, and outreach components of this report.

PCRMs Toxicology and Regulatory Testing team finds and implements science and policy-based solutions to reduce and replace the use of animals in tests conducted by pesticide, chemical, drug, and cosmetic companies. The Toxicology and Regulatory Testing Intern will work with our Director of Regulatory Testing Issues on researching and preparing educational materials (web and print), assisting with grassroots, media and educational aspects of our campaign to encourage cosmetic companies to stop testing on animals, assisting with the teams lobbying activities, including tracking Capitol Hill visits and preparing materials, and assisting with the preparation of reports for the public or for peer-reviewed publication on topics related to animal testing.
