Position Description- Only Honest Inc is looking for interns in entrepreneurship, marketing, social media or politics to help us promote our innovative new website. This is a huge opportunity for you to get involved at the early stages of a new company that is expected to experience rapid growth. Who We Are Only Honest Inc is a startup company that raised its first funding last year and is pushing hard to promote our video sharing platform, which is fully integrated with social media, where users can share videos expressing their political opinions and rate other users video content. What the Job Is Because were a startup company, youre going to be asked to do a little bit of everything- just like the Founder and the President. Some days the work wont be fun and may include things like compiling contact information for email lists or scheduling email blasts. Other days, however, you may help us design the concept and find vendors for a video ad, participate in a meeting with our web developers and give you feedback about the sites design, help us strategize about our marketing timeline, or help design our promotional merchandise. At the heart of the internship, however, you are tasked with getting the word out about Only Honest to EVERYONE. GO-Science is a nonprofit regional science and technology center located in Greenville, NC that is in the process of opening a new facility in downtown Greenville to serve a 29 county region with hands-on educational programming in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We reach over 20,000 participants annually through over 19 core programs deployed by over 800 volunteers throughout the region. This internship position will focus on the working with both internal and external audiences to manage the corporate images, vision, and brand through a mixed methods approach to public relations that uses multiple channels for communications and feedback.

In Kenya , income level creates a large gap amongst school children's quality of education. Most upper-class children receive exemplary English instruction. However, children of poorer families and communities, who cannot afford expensive English instruction, lag far behind. This lag creates an even larger rift as children progress through their schooling and eventually into the workforce. Opportunities exist for those with strong English skills. IFRE strives to bridge this chasm to offer quality English instruction by collaborating with local rural schools. Intern teachers in Kenya are a prized and welcomed resource! As a teacher intern, you will work in the rural schools mostly work under the direction of the head teacher.

The Billboard Project is a multi-phase, cross platform, transmedia project based around a comedic movie Billboard, an Uncommon Contest for Common People, where the audience participates in its creation over the course of a year and a half. The audience can simply view the movie or become more immersed in the project by taking part in a multitude of outlets that crosses over from a virtual radio station website to social media, to live events, to a movie, then to a game. Intern opportunities are currently available now through the summer and fall of 2013 The creator of the project is Zeke Zelker, a critically acclaimed, award winning filmmaker/entrepreneur with a number of projects to his credit; the wildly successful feature film InSearchOf (the 6th most viewed drama on Hulu all time), the 2005 Sundance Film Festival favorite Loggerheads, Affairs, Fading, A.K.A.-Its A Wiley World!, Getting Off, Southern Belles, Just Like the Son and a documentary on the Dalai Lama, A University Prepares. His first exposure to the film industry was in 1987 when he acted in John Waters groundbreaking film Hairspray. He produced the first and much talked about transmedia experience Pandemic 1.0 at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011. A blending of screenings, live events, social gaming, data visualization, and mobile apps. This experience may change the way people perceive entertainment from a passive experience to an immersive and interactive one.

Intern Description The Fitness Specialist Intern will work in the award winning HealthVantage Program at the School Board of Manatee County building, the Employee Fitness Center, and various schools sites in the district. The intern will be under direction of the Wellness Coordinator and Wellness Specialist. He/She will gain experience in wellness promotion and communication, health education, fitness, corporate wellness and special populations including (but not limited to) Diabetes, Overweight/Obese, and Aging.
