Research trends and analyze data for Risk Management. Complete follow-up and reports as assigned by Risk Coordinators and Director. Use Microsoft Office programs including Access, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to analyze and present data in a thorough, comprehensible fashion. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline processes, improve analyses and reports, and enhance Risk Managements ability to provide early intervention where needed.
A. Reduce, or if possible, eliminate, risk of injury or loss to consumers, employees, contract staff, visitors, volunteers and the Organization as a whole.
B. Preserve the financial assets and earning power of the Organization.
C. Promptly identify real or potential risk exposure in an effort to reduce or prevent the potential for injury or loss.
D. Integrate with Quality Assurance/Clinical Excellence processes to provide the safe delivery of quality behavioral health care within reasonable financial resource limits.
E. Enhance SBHs community image, community relations, and consumer confidence.
F. Review, analyze and share aggregated, trended data sets with appropriate administrative, clinical and ancillary staff departments or committees to enhance the overall performance of the organization and help identify opportunities to improve.
G. Develop methods to treat identified risk exposure. These methods focus upon loss prevention, loss avoidance, and risk transfer techniques.
