This is a great opportunity for a current student to gain real world experience with an exciting, emerging brand. With a focus on PR outreach, social media management, and market research, the Public Relations and Marketing Internship at Tanteo Spirits will work to expand our traditional and social media exposure while gaining experience with an emerging independent brand in the beverage industry. Primary responsibilities: Weekly posting on Tanteo Facebook page Weekly moderator duties on Tanteo Facebook page Weekly moderator duties on Tanteo Twitter account Weekly Pinterest updates Create unique online content to drive traffic to Tanteo's social media outlets Monthly "like"-ing all current Tanteo accounts on Facebook and following on Twitter Monthly interacting with Tanteo account on Facebook and Twitter Assist Tanteo staff with day-to-day office management (as explicitly stated by Tanteo staff) Secondary responsibilities: Conduct ongoing research of market and product trends Assist Tanteo sales team in event execution and recaps Address consumer and press inquiries Contact press and facilitate PR mailings Other duties as requested Objectives: Learn about the marketing side of the beverage alcohol industry Understand and evaluate the ROI on different marketing initiatives Learn how social media plays a role in advancing the awareness of small niche brands Sharpen critical thinking skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail Internship will take place out of Tanteo's SoHo office. Internship will last a minimum of 3 months with a minimum commitment of 15 hours a week. Lunch will be provided daily.
