While this is initially an unpaid internship for at least the first 3 months, it is designed to be an educational and career-advancing experience where interns will be doing meaningful work and advance their careers and every effort will be made to reward superior performance. Although it is an unpaid internship, there are opportunities for bonuses, commissions, and paid travel. Specific Tasks Include: Responsibilities include: Assisting the Events Producer in completing goals for the monthly events Coordinating with the Events Producer for tracking progress and success of events Organizing and preparing for event setup, implementation, and finish Researching and building relationships with potential sponsors and partners Collaborating with the IDEASMYTH team on marketing strategies Assisting in venue and location scouting Developing and maintaining calendars of events Researching and maintaining resources related to event planning Participating and showcasing industry trends in weekly meetings Brainstorming ideas for event topics, panelists, and activities
