CEOs for Cities is a civic innovation lab and network for city progress and success, connecting cross-border, cross-sector, cross-generational civic CEOs and change makers to each other and to smart ideas and practices.
The CEOs for Cities Success Intern works primarily with the President and CEO, but also with Mark Ebner, the Manager of Research and Engagement, and the Communications Manager, in the Cleveland office located at Cleveland State University's Levin College of Urban Affairs, 17117 Euclid Avenue. (CEOs for Cities maintains 3 offices--in Chicago, Cleveland, and Washington, DC). The President and CEO is Lee Fisher.
The Intern is expected to work a minimum of 15 hours a week for a minimum of 4 months. There is no salary or benefits, but upon successful completion of the 4-month period, the Intern will receive a stipend of $500. Extension of the internship or full-time or part-time employment with CEOs for Cities after completion of the 4-month internship will be considered if the Intern is interested.
The Intern provides organizational and creative support to the President and CEO and other Cleveland staff in the Cleveland office. The Intern assists with the CEO's scheduling and helping to manage the CEO's workflow and project management. The Intern assists with technology and social media, speech writing, research, event planning, project management, and visual presentations. The Intern also provides support to other Cleveland staff in grant and report writing, research, marketing, communications and website management.
