This SUMMER 2013 STUDENT internship opportunity is designed to give students experience in facility management, marketing, supervision, aerobic and weight training instruction and health promotion. The health and fitness intern position is 10-12 weeks in length, for 15-20 hours per week, depending on the student's schedule. Host Organization: The Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, New Jersey is a non-profit educational facility specializing in environmental education programs for 19,000 school children each year and the rehabilitation of approximately 4,000 animals each year. General Information: Under the guidance of our staff, interns at Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge have opportunities for hands-on experiences in a variety of areas. From rehab to education there is an array of opportunities for all types of students. Ideally, fall, winter, and spring interns with the Refuge should be willing to commit at least ten hours a week over the course of an entire semester. Fall, winter, and spring internships are for credit only. Summer internships are 40 hours/week and may include housing or a stipend.
