While some internship can be boring and non-challenging, an internship with us would be described as anything but that! If you like glitz, glamor and everything pop culture, then you would be the perfect candidate for our magazine website, which is a portal that features; entertainment, news, business and technology. Exciting, innovative, fresh and challenging have been what our internship program has been described as by some of our prior internship alum, and we are confident that you would echo the same sentiments if you were selected as one of our interns. We are a new age, New Media Company with several entities under our umbrella, but are presently looking for journalism interns for our latest effort. If you would like to be a part of a forward-thinking, fresh company, then continue reading on! This internship is a 100% telecommuting internship (you work from your current location). If you are not comfortable with working from your location, independently, then, please do not apply. This has proven to be successful in the past with some of our former interns, because many had been local non-related to their major jobs in their hometown, while also interning. We do ask that you get college-credits for this exciting internship. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Our ideal candidate would be journalism major, and would be well-versed in a variety of genres and topics. The candidate must be an extremely good writer; outgoing, reliable and not star struck. You will also conduct phone interviews with artists, so you must have experience in this area, or willing to learn. QUALIFICATIONS: -Preferably, a sophomore or higher in an accredited college. While we do believe in giving people their first chance, we would have to get a feel for the person if they are not at least a sophomore in college -2.5 or better grade-point average -Must be able to work very well independently -Must be outgoing, ambitious, self-starter, innovative and willing to learn. -If you are applying for a PR, editorial, social media or journalism internship you must be great at writing and communicating. Being a people person is very viable in any of our positions HOURS REQUIRED: *16-20 Hours per week (Some weeks may be a solid 20 hours, but 16 hours would be the least) ABOUT OUR COMPANY: We are a Philadelphia-based, trend setting, fresh and innovative New Media Company known for taking brick and mortar practices and making them phenomenal via the Internet gateways.

Spend your Summer on the Water at Sunset Bay Beach Camp and Take Your Watersports, Marine Science, and Teaching Skills to the Next Level Beach Camp at Sunset Bay is a one of a kind water sports summer camp lead by renowned marine life educator, film maker, author, speaker, and underwater photographer Annie Crawley (www.AnnieCrawley.com, www.DiveIntoYourImagination.com). Located on Puget Sound in Seattle suburb of Edmonds, our program includes both traditional summer camp water sports, and an educational component in marine biology, and marine life photography and video. A central part of our staff development program includes the opportunity for all waterfront staff to become certified scuba divers during the camp season. If you love the ocean and the summer camp experience, Beach Camp may be the place for you. We are assembling an energetic team of counselors with instructor level expertise in wakeboarding, sailing, sea kayaking, paddle boarding, photography/video, or marine sciences. If you currently a certified scuba diver, dive master or instructor, you may also be able to help on the bottom in our new dive instruction sister program. -Located 20 minutes from downtown Seattle allowing summer staff to enjoy all the fun of summers in Seattle on their time off. -Modern shared cabin/apartment accommodations. -Short 8-week camp season (plus two required training weeks) with only 4 of the 8 weeks being overnight. -Small Camp environment approximately 40 kids per week. -Weekends off unless desiring to earn extra money working weekend classes/events. -One restaurant meal every day. -Best beaches on Puget Sound. -Scuba training and certification opportunities for all waterfront staff. -College Internship credit available in Education or Marine Sciences. -Weekly stipend, room and board provided -Staff boat use available during time off.
