Departments: Scottish Affairs Office 1 opening; submission deadline 7 July The Scottish Affairs Office (SAO) is responsible for developing and delivering the Scottish Governments policy objectives in North America, through high-level relationship building, communicating Scottish Government policy, co-ordinating the work of the Scottish Government and its agencies operating in the US and Canada, and delivering a programme of public diplomacy. The SAO is a small team that works flexibly on varied and exciting range of promotional activities, often with little lead-time. Students studying political science, international affairs, media relation or public diplomacy will gain valuable hands-on experience.
