This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position. This person will serve as an Educator and work in the Education Department of the Brandywine Zoo. The role of the Zoo Educator is to lead informal and formal education opportunities both on and off site, serves as a lead educator for summer Zoo Camps, and assist with special events. Were looking for an individual with great people skills (especially with children!), self-starter, able to work as part of a team and independently, energetic, positive, creative, sense of humor, and has a passion for the environment! Zoo Educators are expected to be fun, safe, conscientious, and a committed leader who gets along well with others. Hours: Flexible hours required Monday Sunday. Approximately 40 hours per week.
