OUR MISSION: E.G.O.S Sports and Underrated productions are here to present opportunities to hard-working, enthusiastic young men and women that are interested in developing their skills and gaining experience with sports media production and coverage. Our goal is to help develop and accentuate the skill sets of the people who will be working for us so that they can move to top news and media outlets in high-ranking positions. Similar to the teams and the athletes that we will be covering we want to develop the teamwork, work ethic and the fundamental skills to execute your job. We want creative, innovative people who are not afraid to speak up if they have a good idea because we are looking to revolutionize the way things are covered and looked at. WHAT THIS OPPORTUNITY WILL BRING: - A Chance to Work on High Level Documentaries/Short Features/Film: Underrated Productions is close to finishing one of the most highly anticipated and intriguing basketball stories of all time. Ten... But Whos Counting is the story of Sam Jones, ten time NBA world champion with the Boston Celtics. This is just one of many high profiled documentaries that we will be producing on current and former pro athletes and other social issues. If you become apart of the family, you will be apart of everything we have coming up. - Sports Reporting and Coverage: The people that work for us will be in the thick of the fire when it comes on to sports reporting and coverage. We will be covering mostly Montgomery County high school athletes (mostly football and basketball) and the news swirling around it. Podcasts, blogs, articles, short news videos are all things that you will be apart of. - Exposure/Connections: E.G.O.S Sports and Underrated Productions have connections/influences in some of the biggest media outlets in the nation, such as: - ESPN - CBS - WJLA (Newschannel 8) - NBA TV - Rivals.com - Washington Post - The Gazette And much more along with ties to high profiled sports companies and organizations. POSITIONS THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: - Camera Operators - Video editors - TV and radio personalities - Reporters - Sports analyst/experts (Primarily in football or basketball) All applicants must email a resume and any examples of prior work must be emailed to mocokev@gmail.com.
