The 2NDFLOOR Youth Helpline is a statewide helpline for NJ's youth. Young people can call 24/7 to talk about any problem or concern. All calls are confidential and anonymous. A 2NDFLOOR Phone Counselor Intern answers phones in our Monmouth County location. We provide a 40 hour training program and Master's level supervision.

The purpose of the Shelter A Family Intern is to provide assistance to the Shelter-A-Family Social Worker at the Shelter-A-Family locations with the transition from structured residential treatment to an independent living environment. This will include; providing individual and family counseling; conducting community groups (i.e., Parenting Skills classes); assisting residents in the development of Individual Service Plans; making appropriate referrals; interfacing with Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Physical Health staffs; monitoring outside meeting attendance; interfacing with DFACS and other agencies and assisting residents in planning community activities. This internship will take place at the S-A-F office building at the Defoors Ferry Apartments.

Other scouts main concentration would be for the more polished athlete, this is normally athletes at a junior college level and would like to proceed to a University or State level college, Or even for the outstanding High School Athlete. All athletes are judge individually, for the athletic talent, academics, personal character and the recruiting coachs need for a specific position. The internship experience provides an important introduction to program development for those who seek to replicate and administer nature-based programs in other settings. Farm Class Teaching Support- learn to skillfully apply animal-assisted interventions and horticulture education to groups of students as teaching assistants in farm, riding and garden classes. Intern Project- Institute Interns, either as a group or individuals, will participate in an additional project to enhance the Green Chimneys Farm, or another area of the organization and its programs.

Agv Sport interns will be trained in creating marketing plans, research, management, sales techniques and sales closing methods.
