Greater Washington Sports Alliance is looking for qualified interns to join our 2010 Fall semester team. Reporting to the Director of Events, interns will be primarily responsible for supporting day to day activities of the Sports Alliances bid research & development, marketing, communications and event departments. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), detail oriented, and able to work in a very fast paced environment. Candidates should also be creative, adhere to deadlines, and have excellent verbal and written skills. The opportunity is open to current undergraduates and postgraduate students as well as recently graduated students. This internship program provides a crash course in the team sporting goods industry and helps network interns with coaches, athletic directors, and the corporate management team at Reebok Team. The program provides a great educational experience and exposes the interns to great potential employment opportunities.
