INTERNSHIPS All Internships are unpaid. Internships run between the hours of 9am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. There are several different internship positions and they each require 10-15 hours per week in the office at the venue and there may be fieldwork or homework as well. Dont worry, its not your normal stuffy internship. We want people that can come up with their own good ideas and execute them. The internships are highly competitive and we demand reliable, honest, hard working individuals. Each internship position will have a different area of focus where special projects will be developed. All internships are unpaid. School credit is possible for internships. You do gain the ability to attend all the Granada shows FREE of charge. So youve got that going for ya. Photoshop & Illustrator proficiency required.

Summer Theatre of New Canaan, one of Connecticuts premier professional summer theatres, is now hiring for its 10th season. Interns work side by side with theatre professionals in acting, creative, technical and management. Twelve paid positions are available on a rolling admission! Dixon Place seeks technical interns to work in all aspects of production from load-in, to running shows, and load-out. After training, interns will run shows independently operating state-of-the-art lighting and sound consoles. Interns will work directly with artists and the production staff, assisting in the technical needs of nightly performances. Hours vary from week to week, but are generally in the afternoons and evenings, totaling approximately 40 hours a week. Responsibilities include working directly with the Technical Director, communicating with artists to understand their technical needs, and running lighting, sound and video for nightly performances. Entertainment Technology experience is suggested, but not required. Weekly travel and food stipend - $100/week . Several current Opera Theatre staff members started as OTSL interns, and other graduates of the administrative internship program are working at arts organizations in St. Louis and around the country. Opera Theatre internships offer the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people both in and beyond the company. A basic familiarity with (and enthusiasm about) opera and classical music is a great help, because it cuts down the amount of material interns must assimilate and adds greatly to interns enjoyment of the activities offered during the season. Interns are invited to attend additional lectures, recitals, and rehearsals as their schedules permit. Guidelines All internships are full-time, paid positions. Starting dates vary (see job descriptions), and hours may include some nights and weekends. The Jewelbox Theatre at The Rendezvous is looking for an intern to assist with day to day activities such as following up on performer requests, bookings, etc. As well as assisting with box office and marketing strategies. Ideal candidate will have a strong interest in box office management, performance art of all types, and a willingness and desire to learn. The position will be part-time and will include some hours working the box office in the evenings.

If you are interested in community activism and art, this internship is for you. Morgan Farms is located in Clearfield Co. We are developing the property to be a sustainable retreat center. Our current projects include gardens, trail building and a small stage construction. Also, we are doing field work for an art project--Marcellus Shale-a Question of Legacy. For this project we will be interviewing people from the area who have been involved in the natural gas and coal industries in the county. Interviews and research will be incorporated into a play which will be touring the state. Looking for researchers, writers, creators, and actors. Also looking for pr journalism people to do press releases and social media promotion.

Galli Theater is a non-profit children's theater company with three theaters in Manhattan and the Bronx. We are involved in a variety of activities, including public and private performances, hospital and other charity performances and workshops, classes, and summer camps. Interns will be involved in a number of ways within each activity, as need arises. They may assist in camps, with the music technician, with show needs (box office, theater preparation, etc.), and a number of additional areas.
