As a Hood intern, you will be able to experience our culture and values while working closely with the Purchasing Team and cross functionally with Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Quality as well as other departments within the organization. You will set up formal packaging specifications and assist with working on various packaging alternatives to improve costs and reduce materials while ensuring quality and performance. In addition, you will develop an overall understanding of the Corporate Purchasing role within Hood including the use sustainability initiatives.

The Project Management Assistant will provide support to all members of the DBI PMO Team. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Shadow each project manager to see their day to day work, assisting as necessary Work with the Project management team to develop a project based on 2013 goals and objectives as defined by manager Generation and maintenance of project schedules and reports (project plans, status reports, etc.) Attendance at project team meetings Coordination of project meetings, agendas, and meeting minutes Organization of project files and deliverables Creation and maintenance of project financials Possible design and creation of a PMO website on the DBI intranet Possible work on the project delivery methodology The ideal candidate must be motivated and reliable to perform the duties associated with the position and work with limited supervision.
