Founded in 1983, AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, Inc. (AAC), is New Englands first and largest AIDS service organization. AACs mission is to stop the epidemic and related health inequities by eliminating new infections, maximizing healthier outcomes of those infected and at risk, and attacking the root causes of HIV/AIDS. There are 8 members on AIDS Actions Development Team. Our team produces over 13 events a year to raise critical funds and awareness to advance our mission. We are a fast paced crew looking for students interested in learning more about the ins and outs of non-profit work and looking to increase understanding of how corporate partners and grant makers impact the community. The Corp/Foundation team is responsible for managing and maximizing partnerships with corporate and foundation funders to increase payroll giving, matching, volunteerism, and sponsorship of all events.

The Development department ensures AIDS Action has the financial resources to support our wide range of prevention, client services and advocacy programs. AAC's development team is seeking an intern to spend 8+ hours weekly assisting with database maintenance and donation processing. The Development Operations Intern position is great for someone with an interest in fundraising, stewardship, and learning how non-profits work behind the scenes.
