We are seeking an Advertising Sales Intern to join our team. This is a strategic position within the sales team, as an individual contributor selling against a select number of strategic accounts in the Midwest. DMBA sponsors a 1.5 day annual conference each fall, in Chicago Illinois, and several one-day regional meetings in each of the four regions across the United States. The Event Planning Intern, works with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and the volunteer conference committee, works diligently to ensure that all duties associated with scheduling, coordinating, and sponsoring the annual conference are met. The annual conference which targets approximately 600 professionals, leaders and managers; includes concurrent sessions, paid workshops, an annual general meeting, keynote events, three receptions, meal events with featured speakers, and networking and social opportunities.
