Who we are: sittin' in a tree weddings, LLC is a boutique wedding planning agency based in Atlanta, GA. In addition to planning unique, personal weddings in the Atlanta metro area, we are the exclusive host of weddings held at Kingston Stables -- a former horse pasture-turned-wedding venue in Northeast Georgia. We market the venue to brides, develop event design concepts, work with local vendors on each detail, and see each wedding through from start to finish. What were looking for: Someone whos passionate about the modern wedding industry, has an eye for design, knows his or her way around social media, and is looking to learn more about marketing & events. Our intern cant be afraid to roll up the sleeves, work hard, and definitely break a sweat, all while wearing a smile. Our events are 99.9% al fresco, so a love of nature is required. Its critical to have a sunny disposition and be a problem solver. What youll be doing: In a nutshell, our intern will maintain our brands presence on social media networks (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and our blog). In addition to on-site event work, approximately 5-10 hours of event-prep work will be required per event from our home-based office. Additional weekly social media work can be done remotely. (You can easily work another full- or part-time job and still take advantage of this internship opportunity. Ya gotta pay the bills, right?) The event & event prep schedule is mandatory; the weekly commitment is flexible.
