About the Company: AthleteTutors® is an online math tutoring company geared towards supporting student athletes in grades 6 through 12. Our instructional practices are designed to help students master the Common Core Performance Standards adopted by 46 states, ensuring that student athletes receive instruction parallel to their counterparts nationwide. Each tutoring session is driven by the present academic needs of our students. By the end of each tutoring session, students are able to prove mastery of each skill by demonstrating both concrete (i.e., online whiteboard modeling using graphic tools) and abstract (i.e., online pencil and paper) understanding of the learning objective. Internship Description: The Tutor Intern will gain valuable experience in classroom-standard pedagogy. Responsible for the evaluation, procurement, design, technical specifications and support for Network equipment and storage capacity.  Prepares equipment maintenance requirements and policies, identifies and tracks equipment deficiencies and designs / implements rearrangements and improvements.  Plans, organizes and functions as equipment SME for equipment selection and on-site installations. Interfaces with process engineering and maintenance to develop and support new processes and applications.  Sequences vendor schedules to insure proper interface and deployment.
