There is no central office - and the bulk of our creative process happens in virtual collaborative environments. There will be no copies or coffee making - but we will be interested in your creative input, your resourcefulness, and you will get to take part in the hectic and decentralized company culture of a tech startup. This is a virtual internship that can be done from anywhere in the US (we also have a program for international interns). This is not an internship for people who arent independently motivated or are looking for a traditional office workplace. (No cubicles and water coolers here.) This program requires participants to be serious about taking initiative, staying in contact, being willing to learn from and take critical feedback from their teammates, as well as be able to work with multiple partners (in locations around the world) within a virtual office space.

We are looking to fill the following positions: *Graphic design* - Intern will participate in creation of website design, social media and event materials, promotional web and print design, ebook layouts and other designing needs. *Marketing/ Communications/ Public Relations* - Intern will assist in developing and maintaining social media and marketing initiatives, which includes set up and management of social media profiles, assistance with reporter and media pitching, development of marketing materials and blog postings. We are looking for current college students and recent grads for the spring semester starting January 2013. Must have strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, excellent people, written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to meet deadlines and attend weekly phone meetings. You will be the face of ShaVisionz Inc. in person and on social media channels so professionalism and passion is a plus. You must dedicate at least 5 hours per week. About the Company: AthleteTutors® is an online math tutoring company geared towards supporting student athletes in grades 6 through 12. Our instructional practices are designed to help students master the Common Core Performance Standards adopted by 46 states, ensuring that student athletes receive instruction parallel to their counterparts nationwide. Each tutoring session is driven by the present academic needs of our students. By the end of each tutoring session, students are able to prove mastery of each skill by demonstrating both concrete (i.e., online whiteboard modeling using graphic tools) and abstract (i.e., online pencil and paper) understanding of the learning objective.
