Our Correspondent team works with Wells Fargo Funding and is part of Home Lending. Correspondent clients include large and small banks and mortgage companies, which provide borrower financing.

The Correspondent Business and Client Services Internship is an entry-level, paid, internship that provides hands-on experience with business development support. You will gain experience in communication, marketing, sales support, and implementation.

Specific internship training and responsibilities include:

- Completion of a strategic project relevant to business development and channel support. This will encompass consulting with business partners to clarify and define project requirements and business case, completing project tasks according to established timelines and interacting with mid-management to create and deliver presentations on plans and progress reports. Examples include design and development or intranet pages, client application or client on-boarding tools supporting current sales processes

- Learning the specifics of Wells Fargo Funding products and programs

- Learning about formal communication processes and tools

Contribute to and update channel SharePoint site in one or more of the following areas:

- Announcements and alerts

- Page specific content

- Calendars

- Page and workflow design, development and or testing

- Participating in marketing and sales support working groups

- Provides research and analytical support including analyzing usage reports

- Documents workflows, processes and procedures

Minimum Qualifications

- 2+ years of college education, currently enrolled at least half time in a 4-year degree program

- At least 12 months of demonstrated work experience

- Must be available to work a full-time schedule for summer internship

- Superb interpersonal skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate ideas and strategies clearly, both verbally and in writing

- Strong leadership and entrepreneurial potential with a demonstrated drive for results

- Solid analytical and mathematical abilities

- Proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines

- Able to work in a demanding and highly focused environment, independently and collaboratively in a team

Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents."

Preferred Skills

- Working towards BA/BS in Computer Science, Communications, Marketing or related degree program

- Experience with MS SharePoint development

- Previous experience with meeting deadlines
